This agreement applies when you register as a MoveLane driver ("Driver", "you"). MoveLane UK operates a technology platform connecting customers with independent drivers. You are not an employee, worker, or agent of MoveLane.
You provide removal and delivery services in your own name, using your own vehicle and equipment. You control when you go online, which jobs you accept, and how you perform the work, subject to customer safety, law, and these standards. You are responsible for your tax, National Insurance, and business compliance in the UK.
Before taking paid jobs you must complete identity and vehicle checks (KYC), including valid driving licence, insurance, MOT where applicable, and any documents MoveLane requests. Information must be accurate and kept up to date. We may re-verify documents before expiry and suspend access if records are missing or invalid.
When you accept a job you commit to completing it professionally: arrive within the agreed window, communicate through the app, handle goods with reasonable care, and follow pickup and drop-off instructions. Do not solicit off-platform payment or share personal contact details for payment bypass.
Customer fares are collected through Stripe. Your share is paid out via Stripe Connect Express to the bank account you onboard. Payout timing and availability depend on Stripe verification and platform settings shown in the driver app. MoveLane may withhold or offset amounts for chargebacks, customer refunds, or policy violations pending investigation.
You must hold valid motor insurance covering hire and reward or goods carriage as required for your vehicle use, maintain a roadworthy van, and comply with UK road traffic law. No alcohol or drugs while on duty. Treat customers and their property respectfully. Report incidents, damage, or safety issues to MoveLane promptly.
MoveLane may suspend or remove your access for failed KYC, document expiry, poor ratings, fraud, harassment, repeated cancellations after acceptance, or breach of these terms. You may stop using the platform at any time; outstanding payouts for completed jobs will be handled according to Stripe and our finance process.
